A pot-luck party is one of the most popular types of social eating. It is not certain where the term was derived, but maybe it has something to do with the fact that what you finally end up eating is a matter of fortune, good or otherwise - that is the luck part, for the pot imagine where it comes from.
A pot luck is a gathering where every family or person brings a different dish. The type of dish a person contributes is usually designated based on the theme chosen.
Our theme is summer, so bring your favourite summer dish, fruit and drinks and don’t forget paper plates, glasses, forks and knives!
We’ll provide live great English music, plenty of room to dance and a fantastic karaoke! So revise the lyrics of your favourite songs and rehearse a bit while getting rid of your school stuff.
The party will take place in Curno at Istituto Comprensivo “G. Pascoli”, Via IV Novembre (Tel. 035 615190) from 7:30 pm.We hope to see as many of you as possible, to welcome our summer holidays and make the first annual get-together a great success!
